Minney didn't think he was talking seriously, Alej noticed her reaction and then continued. " Maybe you should take a look outside before thinking how silly my words sound .. "
Lisa then started rolling her eyes just like earlier that day towards the little window on the side, however she couldn't really tell what she was seeing. It was only when she got closer to it that she started understanding what was there.
" There are many of them outside.. way too many for us to survive out there.. " Alej had pointed out. "That's why we need to focus on this place I managed to close the main door of the school once we noticed those things walking towards the school.. however.. " Alej's face was suddenly showing a lot of discomfort. " I took one of them inside the school.. "
"Alej! You don't need to feel guilty.. if it wasn't for you all of us would have died! " said Jenny trying to comfort him. " Besides helping a person in need is what anyone would do.. "
" How silly.. " said a voice from the back " So.. we are all stuck in here with our dead classmates haunting us all because the guard wanted to be the hero of the day.. If someone can't save themselves then there's nothing there to do.. survival of the fittest.. " Jes had started walking towards the group " Maybe if you didn't feel like being a hero.. we would be in way better position now.. thank you.. "
Alej remained silent although he agreed with everything " She is right.. If I hadn't -- " however something else caught his attention. " SHIT! "
" DAISY! WATCH OUT! " Kane shouted.
But it was already late, Jes was right behind Daisy, she was holding a knife to her neck.
" But.. I.. I know how to make the most.. out of this situations.. now.. give me all the rations and guns immediately.. or the girl is a goner.. NOW! "
The room went quiet.. you could cut tension with a knife.
" Survival of the fittest.. that's the only way.. ! " she finally said as she couldnt help but laugh.
