Prologue.
" I'm running late again!.. Why do I always fall asleep.." a young and thin man ran as the buzzing sound of the subway and the busy spirit in the air prevented him from getting to his destination. "Damn it.. I missed the train.. I'm definitly not making it in time now.. ", he coffed out as he tried to regain his breath. " Umm.. are you ok ? " said a quiet and friendly voice from behind, the man turned around to find an average heighted girl with a serious look on her face standing right next to him. " Oh Daisy.. what are you doing here.. are you running late too? " said the young man and to which Daisy didn't know how to reply. " This is late..? I always go out at this time.. " she finally managed to say. The young man thought to himself " No wonder people call her Lazy.. "but still was polite enough to not say anything rude to her.
After some minutes they had finally started a normal conversation, the subway had been way too noisy to let their voices be heard and because of the huge ammount of people riding at the time they were standing far enough for a conversation to occur. " So.. what would you do? " asked Daisy again as to which the young man replied " What do you mean what would I do.. We shouldn't be talking about such a gloomy subject " noticing he was avoiding the question she just remained silent for the rest of the walk, she was enjoying the moment, she didnt feel like killing it with some sad subject like that one although she was very curious as to what she would do in that situation as well.
" Can.. can we walk back together after.. school.. ? " she asked as she couldn't help blushing to which the young man agreed to. As she joined her class she thought " This is it.. today I will tell him... Kane.. ".
However they couldn't imagine that their walk would never come.

Chapter 1.
" What would I do.. in a zombie apocalypse.. what kind of question is that.. "
Kane thought as he ignored the yellings from the teacher who had started increasing his voice to try get his attention. " Geez.. Kane how rude of you.. " said a young girl sitting right next to him. " You could have at least said sorry.. " she pointed out. " I didn't mean to be rude.. besides the teacher was obviously over reacting, there's nothing to be sorry about.. besides why do you even care about it Minney.. you should mind your own business.. ". Minney couldn't hold her tears and dropped her bag as she rushed to the bathroom . Lisa who had been hearing the pair discussing just a few seconds ago had started rolling her eyes towards the window she had started to get really bored and decided to start drawing faces on the window right next to her. It was really cold outside, pretty normal for a winter day though. As she began making the round shape of a face she noticed something curious going on down on the 1st floor, the door to the school was open. " Maybe the guards are moving in the new computers that we were supposed to get this month.. or mayb- " however the screeching sound of fear had just hit her, she had become completely terrified as the screams from the floors below started increasing in volume. " What.. I.. What's going.. on.. " she screamed as panic started dominating her body. " This can't be.. "
As she rushed to the bathroom, Minney had a lot of things going through her mind. " I just can't deal with it anymore.. I just can't.. " she thought as she sat on the little cubicle in which she had locked herself in. She wipped her tears and tried to regain control of her body and after some minutes she was back to normal. " What's up with the lights.. " , the power had just gone out a few seconds ago. It was very quiet and she felt a little uneasy considering there was a lot of noise from outside just some minutes ago. " How strange.. " she though and decided to leave her little cubicle, it was really dark so she had trouble finding her way across the long bathroom. The silence was starting to really get to her as she walked scaredly across the bathroom, she had always felt safe in the bathroom but not anymore. She suddenly saw the light coming from outside the bathroom, it was a faint light due to the power outage but still pretty recognizable. Suddenly it hit her " Didn't I.. close the door!?.. ".

Chapter 2.
"He..llo..?"
Minney couldn't help trembling as she started to back off from the door. She could hear footsteps getting closer and closer but no reply. As she managed her way through the bathroom she felt the panic taking over her. " HIDE! I need to hide ! " was all that she could think of but opening the cubicles would give her away, she continued to walk backwards as the footsteps got closer and closer maybe she could get far enough and then just stay silent but..
- knock -
"NO.. this.. can't be.. " she had reached the wall. Minney started crying, there was nothing else she could do. The footsteps got closer and closer and a groan could be heard coming from the front. She collapsed and just couldn't control herself anymore, it was all over.
" I can't believe you give up this easily ! " Minney heard as a cracking sound ecchoed all over the bathroom, she could feel a warm liquid flowing all around her. " Am.. I.. dead..? " she thought.. she could still move, she looked up to find a shadow standing in front of her. It was Kane.

" Man this job is so boring.. " said the man. " Don't complain! It would probably be worse if it was just one of us standing out here I guess.. and it's still pretty good pay " said a second person. " You sure are optimistic Alej.. " said the first guard. " It's just part of my job.. you should try it too Vic.. you'll see this isn't such a bad job after all " Alej replied.
After a few minutes they saw something rushing towards the building. " Is that- " but Vic couldn't finish his sentence as he followed Alej who was rushing towards the person. " SIR! are you ok?!.. He is barely conscious.. we need to get him inside now! " Alej said. "What do you think happened to him.. this wounds.. I've never seen anything like this.. " Vic replied. " We need to get him inside NOW! ", "Geez.. so bossy.." thought Vic as he followed Alej into the building.
" Jenny.. we need the nurse! It's an emergency! " shouted Alej. " Wh.. What happened to him!? " Jenny couldn't help her surprise and discomfort, if she thought her first day as a secretary had been horrible already now it had become a complete nightmare.
After some minutes the victim was pronounced dead in the infirmary. " We will contact the familiars now.. could you please call the police here while we are at it.. ?" " I guess so.. " said the nurse, she was used to dealing with typical wounds but she never thought she would have to be in such a serious situation. " I guess I can make him look presentable before his familiars get here.. " she thought and began cleaning the corpse. However.. " Oh..?" the nurse thought as she noticed the victim was moving again. "OMG SOMEONE GET HERE HE IS STIL- " Those were the last words the nurse could pronounce before dying.

Chapter 3.
" We are deeply worried about you "
" What did I do .. ? " Daisy replied as she couldn't help but feel slightly annoyed. " Everything was going so well.. and then this.. ".
" Your teachers have complained about you.. they say you don't.. " but after that Daisy couldn't hear anything the principal was telling her, she was happy and wouldn't let anything ruin her day.
" Can I please go.. I have classes.. the ones you have been complaining about..? " Daisy bursted as she continued to feel frustrated with this horrible interrogation. The principal found it to be a fair enough reason to skip the questioning. As she was heading back to her classroom she heard someone calling for her however as she turned back she saw no one there. " How awkward.. " she thought and continued her journey back to the class. " So many stairs.. why does the principal office has to be all the way down to the 1st floor.. " Daisy always thought it would be useful to have an elevator in such a big building considering most building with 3 floors have elevators one with 5 should definitly be a must according to Daisy but the principal thought otherwise.
" HEY! I need some help! " said a woman who Daisy didn't recognize, she was dressed very formally. "Sure.. " she replied even though it seemed to her that classes wasn't something she was meant to do today. " Do you know where I could find the nurse by any chance!? " Daisy thought it was a funny question considering the infirmary was right around the corner however she could tell that the lady meant serious business as you could see fear all over her face , " Sure, I'll take you there in a sec " she replied. " Please hurry! ". And few seconds later all three of them were walking at full speed towards the entrance hall. Once they got there Daisy couldn't believe the horrible wounds the victim presented, soon she realized what kind of wounds they were. " It's like.. someone tried to eat this guy alive.. " shocked from that thought Daisy knocked that idea off her mind since she found it to be impossible and disgusting. She decided to stay outside and hope for things to go well however she knew having a school nurse attend that kind of injuries wasn't guaranteeing anything other than death.
The nurse finally emerged from the room, her face said it all, he didn't survive. She came back with the two guards who were standing outside, they shortly left after a while. Daisy felt obliged to stay there since the secretary was having a nervous breakdown, she too felt like crying " Why.. why this day.. " and little she knew it was going to get worse.

Lisa ran as fast as she could, " We need to get out of here right now! " she shouted towards her classmates as she moved along the hallway. " Kane! what are you doing?! this way! " , as the class president Lisa felt the need to keep everyone safe. " I can't go with you.. not yet " sighed Kane. " You see.. Minney is out there.. and it's my fault she is all alone with those things.. ". "Ill go with you. " Lisa finally replied , she remembered the discussion those two had and then again as class president her mind wouldn't let her leave a classmate to die when she had the chance to save them. " Everyone just go to the exit ! me and Kane will catch up in a bit ! ".
- Just covering the blanks in the story ;Spy - nothing that much interesting but hey look its Daisy again

Chapter 4.
"Kane..?!"
Minney thought as she couldn't pronounce a single word, her body was trembling really badly. Kane who was standing in front of Minney had a horrible look on his face. " Lisa ! Help me out, she can barely move.. and be careful with the body.. "
. " BO.. BODY!?.. " Minney started crying " WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!?.." she finally managed to shout. " That's something I would like to know too.." he replied. " We need to get out of here now! " shouted Lisa , " then we will have time to explain whats going on.. but for now I'm glad you are ok Minney.. I was so worried.. " Lisa could barely hold back the tears.
They managed to get Minney on foot and carefully started nearing the door. Screams could be heard coming from everywhere and Minney could barely stay conscious " This must be a dream! " she naively thought as they quietly left the bathroom. The walls were all covered in blood and so was the floor but nothing could prepare Minney for what she saw next, people eating people alive. She could barely hold her breath as she was doing her best to avoid screaming, Kane and Lisa had a close eye on her as they feared she could be the doom of them three.
" We can't go this way.. there's a bunch of them.. we are forced to go up.. " Lisa said quietly, and they continued walking towards the stairs, however they had suddenly stopped. " No.. What do we do now Kane.. " Lisa whispered, there was one of "them" right in front of the stairs. Minney's face went pale again, she was staring right at the face of death and not only that she recognized it, It was Jay.

Chapter 5.
" This cant be true.. "
Lisa had gone pale too as she recognized her former classmate. " You.. you were supposed to be with the rest of the class.. does tha mean..! " Lisa removed the idea from her mind, this wasn't the time for that. "Think Lisa what do we do.. that can't be it.. " as she held her eyes busy staring at Kane's bat, their only weapon "What if he gets better.. should we really kill him.. ". It seemed Kane had his doubts too as he had stopped moving as well.
"There's no other way " he finally said. " NO! this can't be it.. how .. how do you know if he won't get better! " cried Lisa. Kane was now looking straight into Lisa's eyes " I don't.. but it's either him or us.. ".
" AAHHH!! "
Minney took the bat. " I can't take this anymore.. Jay I always liked you.. but I'm not going to let myself get killed because of you.. " she said as she had slowly started walking towards the body. Jay or what was left of him finally noticed the trio and started rushing towards Minney who was the closest to him. Minney was scared but she didn't hesitate, one straight bat to the face was all that it took to take him down. " I did it! " Minney though as she had stopped feeling as weak as usual " That's how you do it.. " she said as she gave Kane the bat " See it isn't as-- " however Jay hadn't given up yet. Jay managed to catch Minney's leg which now was doing it's best to be away from its hunter as he tried to bite her. However the chance didn't present as Kane hit the skull as soon as possible, he had succeded in freeing Minney. " That's how you do it. " said Kane.
After that they rushed towards the stairs however they had another inconvenience. The upper floor was full of zombies. " What do we do now!? " shouted Minney as to which Lisa had suggested to go back down however the rest of the zombies that roamed the floor were attracted due to the loud sounds of the previous fight and had covered the whole corridor. They were trapped however as the zombies started surrouding them they started falling one by one. The shotgun was doing wonders he though.
"OVER HERE! HURRY!" said a misterious person standing on the other side , the group quickly recognized who was talking to them as they aproached. It was none other than Alej, the entrance guard.

Chapter 6.
" WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!.. "
The four of them managed to escape safely from the zombie hoard that was roaming the hallways. They had managed to hide in a nearby classroom however they were surprised to see it wasn't as empty as they had expected.
" Are you all ok?.. " Alej asked as he stared closely into the three students with suspicion. " Yes! it's all thanks to you ! you saved us back there.. " Lisa said as she regained her breath. Alej however hadn't stopped looking at them, something wasn't right. " Leave them Alej.. they are not harmed.. " said a voice from behind, it was Vic. " How can you be so sure.. " Alej sighed however after a few seconds he suddenly said " Fine.. I'll just let them be.. " and walked back to his corner.
Suddenly the people in the corners started walking towards them, they were other students too.
" Umm.. Hi! I'm.. Summer! I'm from class 4 - A.. we used to have some classes together.. " her face had an expression of fear and her eyes were incredibly red as she had probably been crying just some moments ago , she probably had gone through a lot that day, just like everyone else. " Summer, you need to have a stronger attitude.. let's not make our comrades sacrifice meaningless.. Hi, I'm David I'm from class 4 - A too ! " everyone greeted him as well, he didn't seem as afraid as his fellow classmate. " I.. I'll do my best.. ! " Summer quietly whispered however Kane's attention had drawn to the person walking right towards him. " Kane..?! " Daisy rushed towards him and gave him a hug " I.. I.. was afraid.. you were gone.. you.. " Kane hugged her back " It's ok, I'm glad you are alive too! " " Oh so this is him.. hue hue " said a voice coming from Daisy's back which made Daisy turn as she was becoming obviously red. " WHA.. WHAT! JENNY!! ". Minney who was staring away into the room noticed someone in the shadows, there was another student just looking outside. " Who is that person over there.. " she whispered, " That's Jes.. she is a bit of a loner.. to be honest the only thing we know about her is her name however we can't really kick her since that would be cruel.. " David replied , Minney nodded however her face still seemed clouded in questions, she still had no idea what was going on.
" OH WAIT!.. I still.. I.. What is going on here..?! " she suddenly shouted. The whole room had gotten her attention all of a sudden as a silence started spreading across the room. Alej turned towards her and after a few seconds of thinking replied.
" Apocalypse ".
